About Us

CAPS - Committee for Atascadero Public Schools is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization made up of parents, teachers, retired teachers, and community members. Our grants subsidize unfunded programs, such as coding software, subscriptions to electronic resources, field trips, assemblies, musical instruments, science supplies, graphing calculators, and so much more. Thanks to our generous supporters, we have granted almost $900,000 to fun educational programs in all Atascadero public schools.
